Who We Are
GWS Ecological & Forestry Services Inc. was formed in June 1999 to provide specialized services in applied ecology, woodland and wetland management, tree care, landscape naturalization and environmental planning. Our Kemble office supports a multi-disciplined staff of ecologists, foresters, biologists and resource technicians who are able to effectively collect, analyze and interpret detailed technical data related to land use and the natural environment. We also have a field office located near Wiarton.
The challenge to environmental consulting firms in the new millennium is to deliver innovative yet practical solutions to Clients, which are timely, economically feasible and sensitive to the public interest. The staff of GWS enthusiastically accepts this challenge and recognizes that each resource management and/or development undertaking must have regard for the protection, maintenance and possible enhancement of natural heritage features. The principle of environmental sustainability guides our work in assessing resource management systems, development proposals and ecological restoration/enhancement plans. The sustainability of the solution determines how well the science was understood, evaluated and incorporated into the final strategy.
GWS is committed to giving its Clients a high level of service. Whether our role requires project management leadership or the contribution of a specialty expertise to a planning and/or engineering team our staff are eager and qualified participants. We listen closely to Client needs and provide straight-forward advice and practical solutions for a wide range of resource management and environmental issues. We emphasize personalized service and an objective, professional approach to problem solving. We strive to deliver quality products to our Clients in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost.
